This week’s news!

24th May 2019

As usual, we like to keep you up-to-date on everything Cannock and District Foodbank in these weekly blogs!

This week’s shortages!

We like to keep you, the public, updated on what food shortages we have every week! This ensures that if you wanted to donate dependent on our specific needs, you can do so!

This week we are realllllly low on multipacks of crisps, tinned fish, tinned potatoes, tinned squash and tins of custard. We are always grateful for the support and donations we receive from the public, so thank you so much.

We need you!

We are still looking for volunteers who could spare a few hours a week to help out as delivery drivers, work in our warehouse and admin.

If you are interested please get in touch. There is more information on the roles here.

As well as regular volunteers, we are looking for one-off volunteers!

Tomorrow we are attending a special fundraising event, ‘Beats, Boats and Bites’, where we will need some additional help for a few hours on our stall. If you are interested please email Vicky, our Warehouse manager, at [email protected]

If you are interested in checking out the event for yourself, please visit their Facebook page.

We want to say thank you!

Here at Cannock and District Foodbank, we like to thank every little kind act that we see to help us. We appreciate it all!

So this week, we would like to say thank you to Heath Hayes and Area Senior Residents Support Group for presenting the Foodbank with a donation of £50 last week.

Every little donation goes a long way with helping us, so we are forever grateful.
