This week’s news!

17th May 2019

Shortages this week

As always we like to keep you updated on our weekly shortages in case you would like to donate food in accordance with our specific needs that week!

This week we are specifically short on tinned fish, tinned potatoes and bottles of squash/cordial.

Our store warehouse has plenty of beans, teabags, cereals and pasta!

Thank you as always for donating and your generosity.

For details and locations on where to donate, please click here!

We would like to say thank you!

As you have seen throughout the website and our social media platforms, we always like to say thank you to everyone who supports us and give shout-outs to special thank you’s that week!

This week we would like to say thank you to the regular donors that contribute to the Foodbank financially. We would not be able to function if we were unable to cover our basic costs, so these contributions are always gratefully received.

Warehouse opening times

As requested last week, we have provided the warehouse opening times for anybody wishing to bring food donations up to our central warehouse here at the Pye Green Christian Centre!

Someone should always be here at these times to accept your donation, weigh them and give you a receipt!

We would like to say thank you!

Another special thank you this week goes out to Jacqui!!

She collected 20p’s during lent in order to give a donation to us!

Every little or big donation is gratefully received here at Cannock and District Foodbank, it goes a long way into helping us achieve our goal and cover our costs.

We need your help!

We are still looking for volunteers to help us up here at Cannock and District Foodbank.

We are looking for delivery drivers and volunteers to help with admin. If you think you can help us with any of these roles then please get back to us! The volunteer application form can be found here or alternatively you can email us and and we will send you the application form!

Thank you again for all the help.
