This week’s news!

10th May 2019

It’s another week of good news, another week to give thanks for all of our support!

Weekly shortages

As usual we like to tell you what our weekly stock shortages are so that in case any member of the public was looking to donate to us upon our certain needs, they can do so!

This week we are low on tinned potatoes, bottles of squash/cordial, multipacks of crisps, custard, instant coffee and tinned fish.

If you would like to know where you can drop off your donation, please click here!

We have plenty of tinned beans, cereal, teabags and pasta.

Thank you in advance!

We would like to say thank you!

We would like to say a BIG BIG Cannock and District Foodbank thank you to Callum and William for collecting all of these McDonalds monopoly stickers from their friends! They were handed out to people in need by our Portacabin team last week!

More thank you’s!

Additionally, we would like to say a big thank you to the Midcounties Co-Operative for choosing to support Cannock and District Foodbank with their latest “Carrier Bag Good Causes Fund”, and awarding us £830.80.

We are always hugely grateful for all financial contributions we receive, because without them, our centre wouldn’t continue to function and serve our community.

And another thank you!

More thank you’s! On May 25th “The Magnificent Seven Club” are hosting Boats Beats and Bites! An event being held where some of the money made is being donated to us! Why not pop along to the event, it’s bound to be a great event!

Last but not least!

We are currently looking for delivery drivers who would like to volunteer a few hours a week to help us deliver food from our warehouse to our centres. If you’re interested please send us your email and we will send the necessary application form!
